Yesterday I sang Kyoudai to a friendly cat and spent two and a half hours getting home from Nottingham.

Wii Tennis is the best of the games, I think, but I'm now pretty addicted to Zelda. I don't think mum views Link as quite the evil little bastard Namco made him in Soul Calibur, but she's still a trifle wary of him. Me, I tend to resort to "you pointy eared idiot!" when he falls off something he really wasn't supposed to.

But he's cute, so I can't be angry for long.

Midnas is adorable. Squidgy-cute. Even her uppity attitude is sweet - the only weird thing is that she reminds me wholly too much of Wrath from FullMetal Alchemist.

Wolf-Link is a little nicer to use than Elf-Link though, the dash option is nifty. But Epona is all kinds of love.

Hahaha, you don't know the joy that a simple 'wibble' brings me, as that is the noise Wii Golf makes when you overdo a shot - as I usually do!

I'm lucky to have a Wii, to be honest... They lost my first pre-order, and I only got the call for the second on Monday... Hence the awful bus journey.

But Zelda is awesome and will be well worth it, believe me! I'm sure you can get one soon - or borrow a friend's! - and... Well, Wii Sports is the kind of game someone is safer without, as I now ache and I've only been playing gold and tennis... Golf, incidentally, is an evil game. :P

I'm sure you'll play one soon though! <3 If my local store just got a new delivery in (it's taken all week!), then I'm sure your stores will have ones available for buying pretty soon. :D

To be honest I'm surprised that we've seen you so soon. I figured once you got the Wii you'd disappear off the face of the internet to the extent of the old "is she dead or is she just wii'ing" questions.

I'm also jealous of you having a Wii and Zelda, and will have to hatch a dastardly plan to relieve you of it :D

Well, if you get your arse over here, you can play it yourself. :P If you can lay your hands on another Wiimote (remote - don't ask), you can take part in 3-player Wii Sports games. :P

Plus, you can make your own Mii to carry around in said Wiimote. :P

But mostly, get your arse over here so you can play. :P

I have only the most vague idea where "here" is besides the name of a town I've never been to. Not to mention that I've always been more of a "come over on [day] at [time]" kinda guy. But aside from that it sounds like a great plan :P

Well, come over on [day] and [time] does normally work better for me too, I don't always like being unprepared. :P And beileve me, the vagueness does not improve. People all of ten miles away don't know where the hell this town is... Mostly, you just follow signs to 'East Midlands Airport' and 'Donington Park' - the town itself is pretty incidental.

Dangit, was hoping that'd prompt you to suggest a day, rather than just agreeing with me >.>

Scarily the route planner website I checked suggests you're only an hour or so away from here. Thought you were a much safer distance :P

Well, having checked with my mother, any day after tomorrow is good. And you can even stay over too, which is good for drunken tennis matches. We're big on the alcohol stuff over Xmas.

As to date... no clue so far, any time is good it seems. :P

I thought you were a more safe distance away too... Looks like that'll go out the window once we move to Lincolnshire. :P

Probably easiest to discuss this matter at the Jan. meet then, saves having to wait more than a week for a reply...

And by the time you stop threatening and actually move to Lincolnshire I'll hopefully probably be living somewhere else.
