Me as Sadako

(no subject)

Apparently the BBC received over 200 complaints about Top Gear last week. Mostly about them looking for roadkill to cook and eat and that disturbingly large 'roadkill' cow Jeremy found.

I'm starting to think that people will complain about anything on the show since Hammond's accident...

But the failure of this week's experiment was such a shame, it was all going so well until one of the explosive bolts failed... And now an RAF base has a rather large hole in it.

I kinda wish they could do it again. But considering the experiment was trying to launch a modified Reliant Robin-cum-space shuttle into the atmosphere and then land it again... it's not so likely.

In car-related news, a widow is suing Porsche. Her husband bought a very fast car from them, didn't avail himself of any of Porsche's training courses for their fast cars, crashed it at speed and killed himself. This, apparently, is Porsche's fault. How, I'm not sure. Apparently they shouldn't sell fast cars without offering training. Even though... er, they do. It seems the fault lies with the fact it's voluntary training, rather than mandatory training.

Because, y'know, it's Porsche's fault that someone decided they didn't need to bother learning to properly control an extremely fast car.
